Good news for all first gen eeepad TF101 owners! Asus has confirmed that Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) is finally being deployed as a FOTA.
According to Asus via their Facebook page, deployment has already begun in Taiwan and will be made available in other regions shortly.
Attention gadget enthusiasts, Asus has officially announced the Eee Pad Transformer Prime and it’s scheduled for a December release.
The original Eee Pad Transformer, popular tablet of the year, took the world by surprise, selling out globally. A fine product it has been with its sweet price point, high standards in performance and quality, and most importantly, the keyboard dock.
Don’t Panic!
If you are the proud owner of an Asus Eee Pad Transformer and this title applies to you, don’t panic just yet – the battery may not be paperweight.
As with many modern devices, the keyboard dock utilizes smart charging, a feature that prevents overcharging.

I saw an offer on Ebay for an Athlon64 FX-55, one of AMD’s VERY high-end CPUs, around December 14th and this set in motion a system upgrade.
