Week of freedom

I'm done! Done my exams, done my 5th year, likely graduated, and ready for a summer of fun!
Actually my summer of fun started last week; I did a whole lotta nothing. This was actually posted last night at 4:00 am but the fish was hungry and I have no idea where it went, but it's here now.

Highlights included shopping for icecream. It's harder than you think; Loblaws stocks SOOO many flavours. My brother, his girlfriend and I just stared for about 30 mins contemplating the options.
Oh, I also played some Quake 3, the best game in gaming history. Man have my skills rusted away though; I really need to get back into shape! Nonetheless, I still managed to lay the smackdown on my friends XD. Sorry Mike, next time:P

Low points of the week included running out of chewing gum - every middle-eastern man's nightmare:O Somehow, I managed; barely.

Finally, my breakfast coke, at 3:00 in the afternoon! How I have missed thee, sweet elixir of the gods. I'm actually really busy right now. Exam tomorrow, and project due thursday but rest assured, it contains hot women so how can I go wrong?

I had to take a photo of me sipping my coke all by myself cause my so-called friend Mike wouldn't help me! And I can't even get the photo off my memory stick because Suk's laptop card reader won't take it although it says it can. Boohoo. Now back to work - pedal to the metal, balls to the wall!

Good BJ at the mall

That's right, nothing wrong with that. I went to Billings Bridge on wednesday with Lina and we both had a Booster Juice:P I tried their current feature, the Cabana something and it was pretty good, with a blend of several fruits including blueberry!

Completely unrelated, I woke up at 3:00 am on thursday morning and was very happy. Why, you might ask? Think of it like this - I still had a whole 4.5 hours to sleep! Seriously, I chuckled in delight to myself, right before rolling over and going back to sleep. A friend of mine and I talked about this a year or so ago and at the time, I recall not seeing anything to be happy about waking up at that ungodly hour and I must admit, it does seem a rather strange notion. Trust me though, knowing you still have hours to sleep is a most reassuring feeling at any hour of the day.

An eventful weekend

Friday

It started with friday night of course, (weekends have 3 nights) - Mom was out so dad figured that my brothers, himself, and I should have a dinner out. The conveniently close Kelsey's at Elmvale Mall was an ideal choice and won the vote unanimously.

The menu featured wings and ribs, a succulent combination! How could I not order that meal? My brothers thought so too, and so the order was very easy on our waitress. And then, it came down to the always difficult dessert problem, choosing one of the horribly tempting treats.

As we had but one desserts menu, my brothers took it upon themselves to explore all the options; the mousse cheesecake seemed to be the favoured contender and I couldn't argue with that (I'm a big fan of cheesecake). Now the waitress came back and took orders; I didn't really pay attention to what my brothers ordered, but assuming that the cheesecake was still the prime contender, I said I'd have what they were having. Oops...

Yeah, I got a bit more than a bit of cheesecake: chocolate mousse, chocolate brownie and icecream!!! As you can see, the cake was definitely a lie. Damnit Mike and Chris! Who the hell eats 3 desserts?!?!

Saturday

The highlight of this fine day was my friend's 21^st birthday. That's right, 21^st on the 21^st; how cool is that? The group of buddies we are, we headed downtown to Minglewoods to eat drink and be merry, with heavy, if a little much, emphasis on the drinking and being merry. Now I'm not going to sit here and talk about it - why would I when I can post some rather entertaining pictures that you would all much rather view anyway:P

Yes, it's just a tease but if you have Facebook I promise there is a lot more where that came from. Lets be honest though, you gotta admit that I have sizeable jugs eh;-)

Sunday

Not too much happened today, I hung out with a friend I don't see much of on account of her being at Waterloo, took a nice picture of the snowy landscape we Canadians take such pride in, and got contacted by KB of Farbrausch!!!!!

That's right; my favorite DemoScene group! And take my word for it, they are the best - they blow my mind with every new demo. Except, it wasn't anything important. KB stumbled upon my Youtube profile, saw that I had uploaded a recorded render of their demo FR-41 and asked that I put a link to a hi-def render he has on Youtube. But still, how freakin awesome is that?!! Definitely made my reading week. I know, I'm a big nerd:P
